Loan/Donation of the Materials for the A-bomb Exhibit and Peace Education


We lend the materials listed below for exhibitions and peace education programs to institutes, nonprofit organizations, and individuals who are willing to use them to disseminate the facts of the atomic bomb damage and to raise peace consciousness. 
Some of the materials may be donated to those who wish to continue using them.

The Effects of the Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Documentary film shot in Hiroshima and Nagasaki immediately after the atomic bombings. Production began in September 1945, and was completed in April 1946. It was immediately taken to the U.S. and became known in Japan as “the phantom A-bomb film.” It was returned and first shown to the public in 1967.

 Shipping

● The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum will pay for outbound shipping only.  

 

● Please submit an application form well in advance of the proposed delivery date.                                               We will send the DVDs by air. It usually takes about 2 weeks for delivery.         

   For the "Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Poster Set," we generally ship by Surface Air Lifted (SAL), 

   which usually takes about 3 weeks.                                 


● The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is not responsible for any failure to deliver or delay in delivery 

   caused by any event reasonably beyond the control of the Museum.
