Peace Database Renewed

February 1, 2022

The Peace Database, originally set up in December 1999, has provided the museum’s online users with access to the collection of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.

The museum renewed the database to enhance its usability, and the new Peace Database has launched on February 1, 2022.

The URL of the renewed database is

https://hpmm-db.jp/en

Note: When you access the former URL(http://www.pcf.city.hiroshima.jp/database/index_e.html) of the database, you will be redirected to the new URL.

Key features of the renewed database include:

- A completely new, responsive design-which adjusts the webpage layout to fit screen not only on computers but on variety of devices including smartphones.

- Linkage with Japan Search (https://jpsearch.go.jp/)-a platform managed by the National Diet Library of Japan for providing multi-sectorial metadata for digital content. The new database provides Japan Search with data of the registered items.
