Atomic bomb survivor testimony videos now available

Keiko OGURA
(born in 1937, age 82 at the time of the testimony)
On August 6, 1945, when Keiko was 8 years old, she was exposed to the atomic bombing near her house, 2.4km away from the hypocenter. She has been active as one of the museum’s official atomic bomb witnesses since 2011.
Yoshiko KAJIMOTO
Yoshiko KAJIMOTO
(born in 1931, age 88 at the time of the testimony)
On August 6, 1945, when Yoshiko was 14 years old, she was exposed to the atomic bombing at a factory, 2.3 km away from the hypocenter, while engaging in labor service.
She has been active as one of the museum’s official atomic bomb witnesses since 2000.
Teruko YAHATA
Teruko YAHATA
(born in 1937, age 85 at the time of the testimony)
On August 6, 1945, when Teruko was 8 years old, she was exposed to the atomic bombing, 2.5km away from the hypocenter.
She has been active as one of the museum’s official atomic bomb witnesses since 2019.
