The Main Building Will Reopen on April 25 (Thu.), 2019.

The Main Building of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum will reopen on April 25 (Thu.), 2019, after renovations which started in 2017.
The reopening will be followed by the Japanese Golden Week Holiday, and the Hiroshima Flower Festival which will be held in the area during May 3-5. During this period, big crowds are expected in and around the museum. We appreciate your understanding.
As the Museum’s anti-seismic reinforcement work is still ongoing, the Main Building will continuously be enclosed by the temporary fence.
