We are looking for participants for PEACE ACADEMY Part 2

Neary eighty years have passed since the atomic bombing, and there is a growing need to 
strengthen and enrich measures to spread and convey the realities of the bombing. 
"Peace Academy Part 2" will be held to deepen the understanding of the realities of the atomic 
bombing and an effort of abolishment of nuclear weapons.
The goal is to encourage young generation to find a way to spread “SPIRIT OF HIROSHIMA.”

University students, include undergraduate and graduate who live in Hiroshima

Program contents

Day1
1. Lecture “Hiroshima and Peace tourism” *Lecture will be given in Japanese
2. Exploring the exhibitions at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum with an audio guide(English version available)
3. A-bomb survivor testimony in Japanese
 
Day2
1. Talk by an A-bomb legacy successor in Japanese
2. Field trip to NHK to observe AI-based A-bomb testimony response device
3. Introduction of an initiative for peace by the City of Hiroshima (English handout available)
4. VR experience, recreates the devastation of August 6th (English version available)
5. Group discussion

Day2   Meeting room (1), same floor as day 1

50 people (Lottery in case of oversubscription)
