What are A-bomb Legacy Successors?

As the A-bomb survivors are growing older and the number of testifiers are accordingly decreasing, Hiroshima City has been cultivating successors since the FY 2012 to pass down the survivors’ stories and wishes on their behalf. The A-bomb Legacy Successors who currently offer lectures have completed the training course and started their activities in the FY 2015.

What are Hibakusha Family Member Legacy Successors?

Hiroshima City has been cultivating the hibakusha's family members as the successors since the FY 2022 to inherit and convey wider variety of their stories and wishes on their behalf.
