Even though the war ended, shortages grew more severe, with many people left homeless or lacking adequate food and clothing. Life was extremely difficult for everyone. Furthermore, the affects of the A-bomb had undermined the health of the survivors. Despite the harsh circumstances, the city slowly forged a path toward recovery. The medical team even filmed scenes of an autumn festival celebrated within the city.
