【Important】We take the measures to ensure the safety of all our visitors.

To ensure the safety of all our visitors, we take the following measures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

 

[Entrance into the Museum]

◎Refrain from visiting

・Visitors who have symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath (even if the symptoms are mild).

・Visitors who have been in close contact with individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19

・Visitors who have family members or close acquaintances who are suspected or being infected.

 

◎We measure your body temperature before your entry into the museum building. Those with body temperature higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius (99.5 degrees Fahrenheit) are not allowed for entry.

 

◎Please allow enough time for entrance.

 

[Inside the Museum]

◎Observe the “coughing manners." (Wearing a mask is a personal choice.)

◎Wash your hands with soap and clean your hands with hand sanitizer frequently.

 

◎Maintain physical distancing with others.

 

◎Refrain from conversation as much as possible. Do not talk loudly.

 

[Suspended or Reduced Services]

◎The number of seats at the Video Theater, A-bomb Survivor Video Testimony booths, and Visitor’s Lounge is reduced.

 

◎The number of screens of Media Table in the East Building is reduced.

 

◎Touchable exhibits on the third floor of the East Building are not available.

 

[Misc.]

Staff members wear masks and gloves when necessary.

 

Partitions are installed where the staff contact face to face with visitors.
