【Important】We take the measures to ensure the safety of all our visitors.

April 1, 2021

To ensure the safety of all our visitors, we take the following measures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

[Entrance into the Museum]

Refrain from coming to the museum if you have a fever, a cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath (even if the symptoms are mild).

We measure your body temperature before your entry into the museum building. Those with body temperature higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius (99.5 degrees Fahrenheit) are not allowed for entry.

Please stand in line regardless of whether you have reserved a Timed Entry Pass. We will admit visitors to the Permanent Exhibit area on a first-come-first-served basis, while also monitoring the number of visitors already inside.

Please allow enough time for entrance.

[Inside the Museum]

Wear a mask and observe the “coughing manners.”

Wash your hands with soap and clean your hands with hand sanitizer frequently.

Keep a distance from other people.

Refrain from conversation as much as possible. Do not talk loudly.

[Suspended or Reduced Services]

The number of seats at the Video Theater, A-bomb Survivor Video Testimony booths, and Visitor’s Lounge is reduced.

*Daily Talks by A-bomb Legacy Successors at the Video Theater are suspended.

The number of screens of Media Table in the East Building is reduced.

Touchable exhibits on the third floor of the East Building are not available.

No flyers are available in the Information Lounge.
