Exhibition Overview
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum collects and preserves atomic bomb artifacts that have been kept by survivors, their bereaved families, and others in order to convey the reality of the disaster wrought by the atomic bombing. In the last fiscal year (April 2019 – March 2020), the museum received 4,758 items from 47 donors, and 176 pieces among them are currently on display.
